THEME: Soil and Water Management Issues in Regional NSW
The meeting is open to all professionals and practitioners with an interest in soil science including researchers, lecturers, post graduate students, consultants, government agencies, land managers and planners.
The forum will allow a space for participants who are interested in sustainable soil and water management practices within the Illawarra area. At this stage themes of the meeting will include but are not limited to stormwater management, acid sulfate soils (New National guidelines) and urban horticulture. If you have a local site relevant to your presentation please let us know and there maybe an opportunity for us to visit during the field trip.
Day 1: Monday 4th November 2019. Formal presentations. Morning tea and lunch provided.
On Monday evening, there will be an optional regional post forum dinner at a local eatery. The venue is currently being negotiated.
Day 2: Tuesday 5th of November, 2019. Starting from University of Wollongong then departing for various sites around the Illawarra. Depending on the number of participants bus transport and catering will be provided.
Attendance over the two days counts for up to 16 CPSS hours and may be tax deductible.

Dinner, transport to venue and accommodation are NOT included.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Submission of two-page abstract papers are welcome. See format and paper requirements below. Abstracts are to follow the 2018 National Conference guidelines. It is proposed to make these abstracts papers available through the Soil Science Australia website (with author permission).
A maximum 2 page abstract with title should be sent to Brett. E-mail: email@example.com).
The abstracts are now Open and Close on 1st October, 2019.
