Officially known as ‘The Australian Society of Soil Science Incorporated’, Soil Science Australia (SSA) was established in 1955 to advance soil science.
Soil Science Australia events, projects and programs are largely member run and we are grateful to our partners and supportersfor their ongoing contribution. Our members include students, early career soil professionals through to internationally-renowned experts.
Soil Science Australia’s governing body is the Federal Council.
The Federal Council consists of the Executive Committee, the President of each of the seven branches, and the Chair of the Certified Professional Soil Scientist Board.
