National Conferences

Soil Science Australia holds a national conference every two years. Every fourth year the conference is held in association with the New Zealand Society of Soil Sciences, with the location alternating between Australia and New Zealand.

Soil Science Australia conferences attract internationally acclaimed presenters and are an excellent opportunity for professional development and networking for soil scientists at all career stages.

Conferences usually include field trips to local areas of interest, the national soil judging competition, specialist workshops, poster presentations and the conference dinner.
