Soil Science Australia is pleased to welcome SMEC as the newest participant in our Corporate Benefits Program. Organisations signing up to SSA’s Corporate Benefits Program receive, among other benefits, discounted SSA membership rates for their staff members.
For 75 years, SMEC has built a reputation as a trusted partner on major transport and energy infrastructure projects around the world. This requires a sound understanding of the principles in soil science.
The company’s design leaders and specialist teams draw on deep expertise and experience to deliver projects across a range of diverse environments, from some of the world’s most remote locations to some of the densest urban surroundings.
“The main benefit we see for being members of SSA is the opportunity to connect with other professionals and practitioners in soil science, and to help build a strong and collaborative soil science community,” said Kyle McClintock, Associate Environmental Scientist at SMEC.
“Through having the opportunity to network with other soil scientists and practitioners at events and meetings, participate in SSA training and accreditation programs, and be recognised through SSA’s awards program, we’re able to boost the professional capability of our staff,” he said.
Following are members of the SMEC team who will be joining (or in some cases, re-joining) us as members.
