Soil Judging Perth Western Australia

The third Australian soil judging competition was held near Mandurah, Western Australia, September 5-6 2015. Both the four practice and two competition pits were in the grounds of the Murdoch University farm at Whitby Falls, located in the shadows of the Darling Range. The eight teams (31 students) that competed were representing the University of Adelaide/University of South Australia, Curtin University, La Trobe University, Murdoch University, the University of Southern Queensland/ University of Sydney, the University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, and the University of Western Australia. The majority of these students were undergraduates studying soil science through agriculture, environmental and science programs.
