Soil Science Australia’s Soil Management Training program is designed to strengthen the knowledge and capability of professionals who advise on or manage soil and land. By combining theoretical learning with practical, field-based experience, the course aims to build technical confidence and support the adoption of best-practice soil management across Australia.
The training is delivered in two parts:
- Modules 1–4 are completed online through Soil Science Australia’s new Learning Management System (LMS), allowing participants to work at their own pace.
- Module 5 is a two-day, in-person field training session, giving participants the opportunity to apply their learning in a practical setting under expert guidance.
This structure supports a flexible, accessible learning experience while ensuring that participants leave with real-world skills in soil data collection, interpretation and application.
