Corangamite Soil Health Knowledge Bases: Search – VIC (Webpage)
This webpage, from Corangamite CMA and Glenelg Hopkins CMA, is an extensive eLibrary of natural resource management information about these south-western Victoria catchments. It was published between 1988 to 2013. While many of the entries in this library relate to water management issues, it also contains many links to reports, case studies and theses that address sustainable agricultural soil management topics in the region. It includes links to local soil mapping resources and a 2013 web version of the Corangamite Region ‘Brown Book’. Many of the weblinks are broken but the entries have detailed abstracts that provide useful information, such as key learnings. While this webpage focuses on south-western Victoria, the information would be of value to other Australian regions.#
This is a carefully curated database of important soil resources. The data base is not exhaustive but rather a library of the resources we believe are the most useful for the audience. Each resource has been added after careful consideration against our selection criteria, including but not limited to its scientific validity, accessibility, and readability. The library generally does not include most academic research papers but may include some open-source papers written in accessible English.
