This online book is a guide for nutrient management on Tasmanian farms and was developed by NRM North, NRM South and Cradle Coast Authority. It explains nutrient budgets, fertiliser type, how to soil sample and test, soil pH, and key plant nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) and trace elements, cation exchange capacity of soils and organic amendments. The last chapters covers recent changes in Tasmanian agriculture and nutrients in Tasmanian waterways. While it is written for Tasmanian soils, it would be relevant for similar farming systems around Australia. #
