This Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) manual provides a method to assist growers with multiple soil constraints and variable soil types to identify soil constraints and plan for amelioration. The three-step process is identification (map constraints using spatial data and ground-truthing), prioritisation (select practical options and target highest return areas), and implementation (manage risks and apply strategies). It includes on-farm examples and case studies. While examples focus on Western Australia, the approach is relevant nationally [PDF 5.27 MB, 68 pages]. #
