This booklet, from Mallee Sustainable Farming, summarises the results of a project that trialled a farming system to build soil resilience for grain cropping in low rainfall regions of South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. The system treatments investigated were to improve the uniformity of crop establishment, to bulk up plant biomass, and to retain crop residue and reduce soil erosion. A description and key messages is provided for each of the 14 trials. This information may also be relevant for other Australian regions [PDF 3.7MB, 43 pages]. #
